Confidentiality
Confidentiality means data and systems are only accessible to those intended to have access to it. No other person with no expected access should be able to reach this data. Throughout the course we will tackle the existing ways cybersecurity professionals have to achieve this goal.
Integrity
Integrity ensures data and systems are only modifiable by those who are intended to modify it. See that a person could have access but still should not have the rights to change a bit of it. In fact, this is a quite common situation. Again, we will break down the means of how this is reached.
Availability
Availability means data and systems are ready to meet the needs of those legitimate users that need to make use of them. Availability can be compromised in many ways, which will be discussed in the upcoming sections.
