While not part of the CIA Triad, non-repudiation is an important goal of cybersecurity. This term means that a person taking an action in cyberspace cannot later deny having taken that action. For example, if Alice sends an email to Bob, Alice cannot later pretend she did not send it. This is achieved via digital signatures, a concept which will be explained in detail soon.
